Purpose: To encourage development of the arts and crafts in Fiji by providing assistance to eligible artists and craftspeople for programs and events.

Funding: $5000 maximum

Objectives of Program 6

• Support community outreach workshops for youths and the unemployed through professional artists and/or craftspeople
• Facilitate increased public access to high-quality and innovative visual arts and crafts program
  
• Encourage artists and craftspeoples to work as a group for the purpose of specialized thematic exhibitions
  
• Increase public awareness and understanding of the visual arts and crafts
  
• Encourage innovation and raise artistic standards by facilitating cultural exchanges locally and if possible, at international level
  
• Increase employment and economic opportunities for young art and craft enterprises
