2003 National Arts Exhibition Opening & Awards Night

The prestigious annual event organized by Fiji Arts Council and sponsored by Carlton Brewery Fiji Ltd was a huge success with the mingling of creative artists and their artworks, sculptures, woodcarvers, and lots of champagne. The event was staged for the first time at Fiji Institute of Technology's School of Art, Culture & Design. Mr. Isoa Kaloumaira of the Fijian Trust Fund officially opened the exhibition.

2003 Opening of the National Craft Fair
Around us are weavers, wood carvers, potters and specialists in masi from all over Fiji, each with the finest examples of their particular craft. The Minister for Tourism, Pita Nacuva, commends the Western Arts & Crafts Society and corporate sponsor Air Pacific for successfully organizing an exhibition for artists in the Western division and for starting the process toward the registration of artists in the west.

2001 National Traveling Art Exhibition
On June 13 the Minister for Women, Culture & Heritage Ro Teimumu encouraged all artists, business houses, and art lovers to support one another in the promotion of Fiji's visual arts industry through Art exhibitions and associated events. Awards were presented in the evening to winners of several Art categories.
